Comments: I attended Carrickfergus Central Primary school from 1972-1979 and have some very fond memories of the school. Mr McCartney was Headmaster until he retired and Mr Morwood took over. Two of my favourite teachers were Miss Dalton, who married and I think became Mrs Smith (had twins) and Mr Gilmore who also taught my two brothers, Jack and Richard.
